About Nighthopper

Nighthopper is a comparison service. We do not sell flights, accommodation, car hire or extras ourselves — you always book with the provider concerned, whose terms and prices apply. Where a price comes from and when it was retrieved is shown with every result. Flight, room and extras are separate bookings with their own contract and their own payment; no travel package comes about, and the rights under the EU Package Travel Directive do not apply to them. The exception is package holidays: you book these through CHECK24 with the tour operator, and these rights apply there. More about this

How we make money: We show offers from partners who pay us a commission: for a booking, a transaction or a confirmed enquiry through us, and with some, just for the click through to them. Other providers on the market are therefore missing. With the provider, you pay the same price through us as you would directly. Names and logos belong to the providers concerned. In the search, we query the prices from third parties while you search: from our partners, and for accommodation via Google’s hotel search. Where a price comes from and when it was retrieved is shown with the results. The flight deals and the pages on car hire at individual airports, on the other hand, show stored prices; the date is shown with each of them. The price the provider displays when you conclude the contract always applies.

Where a source does not provide anything reliable, we say so explicitly instead of filling the gap. An invented price would put sample data in the worst possible place: the most prominent spot on a travel site.

Through commissions. If a referral from here leads to a booking, another transaction or a confirmed enquiry (lead), the provider gives us a share. With the provider, you pay the same price through us as you would directly. Places where this happens are labelled as ads. That is why we only show offers from our partners in the hotel comparison.

Where no partner programme runs for a service, there is no button here — a referral without a programme benefits no one.
