Your rights on a package holiday
If you book flight and hotel together as a package with a tour operator, you have special rights — the package travel rules of the German Civil Code (BGB).
One contract for everything
§ 651a BGB
Flight and hotel come from a single source: the tour operator is your contact for the whole trip.
Your money is protected

Tour operators must protect your payments against their insolvency — you receive a security certificate for this.
Help if something goes wrong

If something at your destination isn’t as booked, the tour operator must put it right — otherwise you can reduce the price.

Flight times, board and the total price for all travellers are shown in the overview before you book.

It says nothing about how often a destination is booked as a package holiday.
