In 2025, Canada ranked 16th of 211 destination countries with 1.3 million passengers from Germany (own analysis of Destatis table 46421-09). Toronto-Pearson was the most frequent destination, followed by Vancouver and Montréal-Trudeau; most flights started in Frankfurt and Munich. The country has 22 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the parks of the Rocky Mountains, the old town of Québec and the Rideau Canal. The official languages are English and French, and payment is in Canadian dollars. What applies to entry, safety and health can be found at the German Foreign Office.
