In 2025, Tirana ranked 31st among the most-flown destinations abroad from the main German airports, with 796,570 passengers, most of them from Dortmund, Frankfurt and Memmingen (own analysis). “Nënë Tereza” airport lies 17 km from the city, and the Rinas Express runs into the centre every hour on the hour, day and night, for 400 lek (as of September 2026). On Skanderbeg Square stand the Et’hem Bey Mosque and the clock tower, and Bunk’Art 2 is a minute's walk away. By bus you reach Krujë in 32 minutes according to the timetable, and Berat in 2 hours 20 minutes (as of 26 September 2026).
