In 2025, Stockholm ranked 23rd among destinations abroad from the main German airports: 914,973 passengers flew there, almost all to Arlanda. From there the Arlanda Express runs non-stop to the main station in 18 to 19 minutes. Most passengers from Germany flew to Stockholm in July, the fewest in February (own analysis). The royal estate of Drottningholm has been on UNESCO's World Heritage List since 1991, the Woodland Cemetery Skogskyrkogården since 1994. Neither the buses nor the Vasa Museum, Skansen or ABBA The Museum accept cash.
