The C1 train runs from there into the centre and via Torremolinos to Fuengirola. At the weather station at the airport, the sun shines an average of 2,905 hours a year (AEMET, 1981–2010). The Alhambra in Granada has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984, the Antequera Dolmens since 2016.
